Fried pickles (a special) were awesome. Sourdough bread is warm and delicious. Halibut was awesome; perfectly cooked, moist, tender, and flavorful. Attentive service. Homemade potato chips (at the bar, but you can ask for some at your table) are addicting!

We have been here about 10 times and generally have had pleasant meal and drinks . Tonight was a real bummer. When we made reservations we specifically asked whether there was a large party on the back patio and were told there was none . My wife and I like to sit there so we went . When we arrived a large party was seated in the back patio . So rather than leave we were seated in the front patio. The manager offered to comp us but we declined . We waited for at least 15-20 minutes on the front patio but no server came to even give us water .We paid for our parking and left .M. Forman

Great location along Lake Avenue. Food and appetizers are always good and unique. Nice crowd and normally busy. Great cocktail drinks as well as good wine selection. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Patio seating available. Parking along Lake Avenue or valet from the rear entrance.

Great restaurant with an absolutely delicious chicken pot pie! Definitely come here for special days. The service is immaculate and highly recommended. There is some street parking, valet in the back. Excellent decor that is tasteful and well fitting to the mood of the restaurant. Absolutely would visit again!

Food was delicious and very beautiful comfortable vibes. Sauteed mushrooms goes perfect with prime rib french dip. Calamari and shrimp was perfect. Lastly the key lime pie a great end for dinner. Looking for yummy food and dinner for two fancy. This is the place to go

I love Smitty's! Great menu selection and amazing service. Their ribs are TO DIE FOR - so so good..they melt in your mouth! You must also try their creamed corn!

We went on a Friday evening with reservations (a must). Our reservation somehow was recorded on the wrong day so we did not have a table. However, to their credit, we did receive a table that the reservations had been cancelled. The restaurant was very loud for conversation. The food was delicious--everything was good: chicken, pork chop, stroganoff, cornbread. The service was very very slow (we waited 45-60 min for our entrees) but we were there to talk so it wasn't a deal breaker for us. Valet is available as parking can be hard to find.

Wonderful restaurant. Very nice decor, white table cloths. Very clean and upscale. Big wall booths too. Our server was Kesha and she was a great server. She knew the restaurant, the menu and was so gracious and polite. I loved her. The food I had wad delicious. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich on a chibatta roll and it came with skinny fries that were salted just right. The chicken was spicy, crispy and juicy. It had lettuce, tomato, bacon, avacado and a spicy mayo. Loved it. Kesha told us that Smitty's owns Parkway Grill and the Chop House, which I've heard of and would love to try. Great experience.

Cornbread and calamari and shrimp appetizer was yummy. My son had the cioppino which looked very good. My husband had the ribs and was very pleased with their flavor and tenderness. My brother in law and I had the prime rib. Unfortunately we did not the best choice. My steak was tough and flavorless (cooked medium which was more like medium well).My brother in law's prime rib was also flavorless, but was cooked properly (medium rare). Waitstaff was very efficient and friendly. Wish the prime rib was cooked properly.

Pricey but the food is good and fantastic customer service. Big wine and spirits selection to choose from. Went with a friend for lunch and will be going back again soon. Two entrees, two drinks and dessert came out to $91 with tip.

Stopped here for dinner on our way to Hollywood Bowl. This place is amazing! I ate the grilled steak chili and it was fabulous. Along with their skillet cornbread!!! Yum!!!!

Dimmed lights, fancy feasts, and great service. Keisha was impressive with the menu recital; when you think you have a question she provides the answer without you needing to ask. This was my first visit at Smitty's with my fella and his parents. I'd recommend and will definitely return to indulge in different menu items.
